Do you need to send money domestic or overseas?

Do you want to receive a domestic or international payment from family, friends or trading partners? SCU is the one-stop shop for domestic or international transactions of any size. SCU offers four options to send or receive funds domestically or overseas

  • Telegraphic Transfer1 - Allows you to send funds directly into your beneficiary's account in a specified currency
  • Drafts (foreign currency cheques) - Bank cheques made to a recipient who can deposit the cheque into their account, an ideal payment method for small amounts or when you don’t know banking details of the person you need to send money to
  • Western Union money transfer (Money in Minutes) - Send or receive money within minutes2 to and from hundreds of thousands of locations around the world
  • Swift Payment within Australia - If you are an SCU member and would like to receive or send a payment from within Australia and have the funds made available fast, you can choose to receive or send via a Swift payment3

Telegraphic Transfers are undertaken at the sender's risk and CUSCAL, and/or their subsidiary companies and/or their agents accept no liability for any delay, mistake, or omission which may happen in its transition, or misinterpretation when received, or from failure to identify the payee. The majority of banks charge processing fees which vary between banks/countries. If these fees are deducted from the transmitted funds, this will result in the beneficiary receiving a lesser amount than transmitted.
